Having fun at the 2005 National Conference!
|
The word on the Foundation online chatroom is that
many of those coming to the National Conference on July
28–30 are looking forward to coming for the information,
health tips and medical advice.
Though this is the primary reason to come to the Conference,
we hope you won’t forget the other important reason—come
to have some fun!
Dealing with a chronic illness can demand a lot of
time and attention so we can simply go about our daily
activities. In the midst of all this, fun can sometimes
be hard to find.
This is why the Conference includes an open reception,
where you come, relax, enjoy meeting others with scleroderma,
eat a bit, and enjoy some music. (Feel free to dance
if you want!)
In addition, Minneapolis has many great restaurants
and shops. The city strives to provide a good deal of
accessible transportation and has several easy-to-get
to cultural organizations.
If you haven’t yet, why not visit the National
Conference page to find out what it’s all
about? If it’s your preference to talk to someone
about how the Conference might benefit you, please call
the National Office at 800-722-4673.
