Your health and safety and that of every person affected by scleroderma is of paramount importance to the National Scleroderma Foundation. The Foundation takes very seriously the threat COVID-19 presents to individuals living with scleroderma, who are immunocompromised. Although vaccines are currently available in the United States and there are fewer capacity restrictions on gatherings, there remains an inherent risk. As a community, we want to ensure that we are keeping each other safe while actively assessing our policies and practices.
As support is one of the main pillars of the National Scleroderma Foundation’s mission, we are happy to share that there are more than 100 Foundation-affiliated scleroderma support groups around the country. Our support group leaders are trained volunteers who are committed to creating safe, welcoming and inclusive environments where all can share about their journey with scleroderma.
