Meet me in St. Louis: 2025 National Scleroderma Conference to be Held in the Gateway City

The National Scleroderma Foundation, the leading patient advocacy organization serving people living with scleroderma in the United States, announced today that it will host the 2025 National Scleroderma Conference July 18-20, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri.

“We’re so excited to bring the rest of our scleroderma community here to the Heartland Chapter,” Rhonda Costa, chair of the Heartland Chapter said. “St. Louis is such a great place to bring people together and we’re excited to invite some new visitors to see all of the exciting things we have to offer here.”

The National Scleroderma Conference is the largest gathering for the scleroderma community. Attendees have an opportunity to hear from the leading researchers and healthcare providers in the field. Sessions explore diagnosis, symptom monitoring, treatments and the latest in research.

“The National Scleroderma Conference is all about providing the scleroderma community opportunities to gather, share, and learn from one another,” Mary Wheatley, CEO of the National Scleroderma Foundation, said. “The value of learning from experts in the field, and from one another is truly what makes Conference so special.”

Conference attendees also find support through talking with others who share similar experiences and making new, long-lasting friendships. The conference helps individuals be empowered to become a more effective partner in their healthcare and discover ways to increase public awareness of the disease.

“The annual conference is such an important part of my life,” said Debbie Morris, a St. Louis native and member of the Heartland Chapter. “It allows me to meet with people who have experiences like mine and lets me learn from doctors from across the country,” she added.

The conference traditionally attracts more than 500 attendees and presenters. With the conference taking place in St. Louis, the National Scleroderma Foundation Heartland Chapter, which represents Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota, will serve as the host chapter for the event.

The 2024 National Scleroderma Conference was held July 19-21 in Bellevue, Washington.
