I’m excited to share some wonderful news with our scleroderma community. This year, for GivingTuesday, the National Scleroderma Foundation is thrilled to partner with Amgen Rare Disease, who has committed to matching up to $25,000 in donations made to our Foundation. This means that every dollar you give will go twice as far in supporting the research, education, and support efforts that are so vital to our mission.
Since GivingTuesday began in 2012, it has grown into a global movement that unites people in acts of kindness and generosity. It’s a day where millions come together to make a positive impact, often for causes close to their hearts. GivingTuesday takes place on December 3, 2024, and it’s the perfect moment to kick off the season of giving with purpose.
At the National Scleroderma Foundation, our vision is to be a relentless force in overcoming scleroderma forever. Our national network of medical and scientific researchers, esteemed Board Members, volunteers, and staff work hard to advance research that can ultimately lead to a cure, while also improving lives through education and support.
Amgen’s commitment to match your contributions up to $25,000 this GivingTuesday empowers us to continue this work with even greater momentum. Amgen Rare Disease has long demonstrated strong support within the rare disease space, and their partnership underscores the importance of collaborative efforts in driving meaningful change.
We invite you to join us this GivingTuesday by visiting scleroderma.org/givingtuesday. Your gift, large or small, will be doubled thanks to Amgen’s generous match, creating an even greater impact for the scleroderma community. Together, let’s make strides toward our vision of a world without scleroderma.
With gratitude,
Mary Wheatley
