On Saturday, September 27, the Florida & Puerto Rico Chapter celebrated its second Take Out Scleroderma Soon (TOSS) event, hosted and coordinated by Chapter Advisory Committee Member Noel Weinstock. Thanks to the generosity of our attendees and supporters, we raised more than $2,000 to advance the Foundation’s mission.
TOSS is a creative initiative that brings people together by combining takeout meals with a cause. Guests gather, make a minimum donation, and enjoy an evening of food and conversation while supporting research, education, and patient services. This latest event was a success not only in dollars raised but also in the meaningful stories that were shared, the bonds that were strengthened, and the inspiration that came from uniting around our shared goal of “taking out” scleroderma once and for all.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated and invite others in our community to consider hosting a future TOSS. Together, these gatherings make a lasting impact in the fight against scleroderma.
