TealTalk: Scleroderma Awareness Month Preview

Join us on May 6 for TealTalk: Scleroderma Awareness Month Preview. Join the discussion about how we can help raise awareness about scleroderma during the month of June and throughout the year. National Scleroderma Foundation staff members will share more information about this year’s theme, Beacons of Hope, and some of activities we have planned for the month.

Meeting registration information will be available soon.

June is Scleroderma Awareness Month. We know that every person’s experience with scleroderma is unique.

Each June, the National Scleroderma Foundation shines a light on individual journeys with scleroderma by sharing stories from members of our community, hosting special #TealTalk events, and Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma events.

Awareness Month will culminate on World Scleroderma Day, June 29. World Scleroderma Day highlights the need to increase awareness of scleroderma and to advocate for those affected by this life-threatening disease.  June 29 was selected in 2009 by FESCA (Federation of European Scleroderma Associations) as World Scleroderma Day to commemorate Paul Klee, a gifted abstract artist who died of systemic sclerosis on June 29, 1940.
