The following standard terms and conditions (“Terms”) on which the National Scleroderma Foundation (“NSF”) permits its employees, attendees, partners, customers, and vendors (collectively, as applicable, “you”) to attend any event or conference organized by NSF (collectively, the “Event”).
You should read this document carefully. By registering for or attending an event or conference organized by the National Scleroderma Foundation, you are agreeing to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not register. NSF reserves the right to terminate or revoke the license granted to you to enter its Event, without refund of any portion of the purchase price, if you violate these Terms.
In order to maintain the quality of the Event, you agree not to engage in any of the following behavior while attending NSF’s Events:
- Discrimination, harassment, or bullying in any form;
- Solicitation of other attendees for your own business purposes without the prior express written permission of NSF;
- Attend the Event for any purpose other than for your personal, educational purposes without the prior express written permission of NSF, including, without limitation, for purposes of offering goods or services similar to or competitive with those offered by or through NSF;
- Possession of weapons of any kind or any item or object that NSF considers potentially dangerous, hazardous, inappropriate and/or injurious to other attendees, including, without limitation, concealed or displayed firearms or knives, regardless of any signage located on the premises of the Event; and
- Any other behavior that NSF determines to be improper, disorderly, or disruptive of or to the Event.
What To Do If You Witness or are Subjected to Unacceptable Behavior: You should report any behavior inconsistent with these Terms to onsite Event staff. Event staff will be happy to help participants contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event. We value your attendance. You may also contact National Scleroderma Foundation directly to report a concern at education@scleroderma.org.
